Brethren, After finding that March 30th for our Exemplification was going to put undue burden on the Lodges in the district that go dark during the winter, I have arranged for the date to be changed to May 4th. I have updated this in the calendar at the MassMasons.org website also. Please make sure you are using this site as it contains a wealth of information as well as the calendar with all the happenings of Mass Masonry. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you! |

The Massachusetts Masonic Protocol manual was published by the Grand Lodge in June 2010. From the description: "All Masons should know and observe the rules of proper Masonic protocol. Protocol is a formal code of etiquette that has been long honored and practiced within our Fraternity. Protocol encompasses standards for conducting Lodge business and for maintaining a level of dignity and decorum that serves to promote harmony and respect within the Lodge... ...Regular attention to proper etiquette and protocol is a defining characteristic of Masonic meetings. It is an important part of showing respect to the Brethren and to the Fraternity and, as such, should be practiced and encouraged by the Master at all times. The handbook is available as a download from EducateMasons.org; login is required.
